Share My Lesson is a teacher-created lesson sharing site with great resources tied into the common-core curriculum. I found some excellent creative writing resources, worksheets, hands-on center activities, ready to use in the classroom. And it is all free! You just have to sign up for a free account for access. Lots of teacher videos to explain how to search or post lessons. Start the year off right with some new lessons for your students!
