Mrs. Crawford's 8th Grade English classes at BMS wrote a poem about a Dr. Seuss-like creature that they had created themselves--all on the iPad! Mrs. Adams' and Mrs. S. Overstreet's English had Word Study in mind: collages were created with the vocab word, its definition, its part of speech, a sentence that defined the word, and an illustration of the word. Apps used: Doodle Pad, Draw 4 free, and Moxier Collage.
