What’s an RSS Feed?

RSS Feed (or Really Simple Syndication) is a format for delivering regularly changing web content. It’s a way for news sites, bloggers, and online publishers to share content for readers to see. If you’ve ever checked around your favorite sites for current events, now the information (or feed) will come right to your inbox.

What You Need to Read RSS Feed
Feed Readers are used to read RSS Feed, similar to using Adobe Reader to read a pdf file. It’s an easy way to enjoy news bites. A few I enjoy are those published by national geographic, travel channel, and planetgreen.discovery.com.

For more information visit http://www.commoncraft.com/rss_plain_english . You’ll see how easy it is to sign up for Google Reader, a free service, and start receiving feeds from your favorite sites. No more checking for news, via email, the news comes to you. I look forward to hearing about your feeds!
